Well, not really...just back to posting blogs.
So, what have I been up to lo these past few weeks? Firstly, I've been getting used to living on my own, most notably as it pertains to bills and other financial matters. Having to stick to a budget is a recent occurrence to me, and there have been some minor growing pains associated therewith. I also find that I don't eat bread nearly fast enough...
Just got my official housewarming gift from my parents today, as they bought me a grill from Home Depot. Pretty nice little number with a side burner, lotsa space. No tank though, so I'll need to pick one of those up prior to firing that bad boy up.
I haven't been playing games much recently...I did get a Wii finally, and have given that some attention. Got my mom playing Wii Sports on Mother's Day a couple weeks back, so that was interesting. I've tried some Paper Mario and Zelda as well, but have yet to really get deep into either one. As for the PS3, it officially became a game playing platform for me, as I got MLB 07 from Gamefly. Turns out I don't have a discerning eye for the inside heat yet...need to work on that.
I've been training a new intern at work the last couple weeks. He's thankfully taking over the reporting programs I was stuck with, so I can focus on other things until he goes back to school. Not so thankfully, he shares the same first name as me, so it's started to get confusing.
I guess I'll close with my current car search. I've had my current car, a Ford Contour, since my parents picked it up for me new in 1998. Recently, I've had some nagging issues pop up with the car, so I've decided to upgrade. I got my pre-approval through Navy Federal Credit Union today, and called up Carmax. I had seen a car that interested me on their site, so I was checking on its availability. To my dismay, it had been sold mere minutes prior to my call. So, the hunt continues...
